Born in 2008 after the merger between the two biggest French AMV Communities, AMVdeFans and Fantasy Movies. the AMV France Association aims to promote AMV in France, in conventions and over the web, and to help the French AMV community grow and share with the international AMV Makers.

The AMV France Association actively participates to several French Japanime conventions and offers, through this website, a place where creators can share their experience and participate in the community. During conventions, members usually deal with permanent large broadcasting of AMVs on various spots and are often in charge of organizing AMV contests.

Once a year, a large International AMV Contest is organized with Japan Expo in Paris, France. And some online events like Tournaments or Games are also organized to allow AMV makers to compete against each other.
